Understanding Scheduler Error Messages
Updated over 8 months ago

Below are some of the error messages you may encounter with the Onlysocial Post scheduler, and the possible solution to resolving them.

  • The token used in the request has expired

  • "Could not authenticate you"

  • "The session has been invalidated because the user has changed the password."

The above errors mean that the token for the affected social network has expired and you need to reconned the account. Simply go to the Account Manager, and Add the social profile again.

Note: Do not delete the profile, simply click the Add Profile button, to avoid losing already scheduled posts.

  • Invalid Parameter

  • Only photo or video can be accepted as media type.

  • 413 Payload Too Large` response

The above error means that there's something wrong with the content. Below are some of the things to look out for:

  • Number of Hashtags used in your post should not be more than 30

  • Image size shouldn't exceed 8mb for Instagram, and 10 mb for Facebook

  • Video size should be below 64mb for Tiktok and 100mb for other platforms

  • Comply with the acceptable image resolution, especially for Instagram. See accepted ratios here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/instagram-api/reference/ig-user/media/#image-specifications

  • For "413 Payload Too Large` response" This is Twitter's error when your media files are too large.
